A product of the backwoods of Maine, Robin has worked in development at Walden Media, and as a freelance editor of everything from anarchist propaganda to celebrity home movies. His official directorial debut, Chocolate Country, a portrait of the work, lives and music of cacao farmers in the backcountry of the Dominican Republic, received a Grand Jury Prize at the Seattle International Film Festival. |
Originally from New York City, Elyse graduated in 2000 from Vassar College with a double degree in Film and Psychology, then spent two years teaching English in Japan. Upon returning to the States, Elyse landed a position with Banyan Productions in Philadelphia, where she became a Producer for TLC’s Perfect Proposal. After two years on the show, she joined MTV as a Producer/Director/Shooter for Made, My Super Sweet 16, Return to Fat Camp, and, most recently, the emmy-winning documentary series True Life. |
Carl Wooley is a Brooklyn-based photographer and filmmaker. He has worked as the cinematographer on various independent documentaries and shorts. His directorial debut, Cotton Candy, a dramatic short following the intertwined stories of three New York couples, was a finalist in the 2005 Akira Kurosawa Short Film Festival in Tokyo. He was recently commissioned by FOAM (Fotografiemuseum Amsterdam) to photograph Amsterdam at night. Marisol González lives in New York with her 12-year-old son, Gabriel. She works as a producer at HBO Sports doing the Spanish Enhancement of all the Sports Programs, which air on HBO and on HBO Latino. She has also worked for the two major Spanish networks in the country, Univision and Telemundo NBC. Marisol has produced investigative long features for Sin Frontera a Telemundo magazine show. Most recently, she was awarded the “Always Inspired” award by Siempre Mujer magazine for her work on her documentary Behind the Wall, which is still in production. |
